Accomplishments
I was fortunate enough to get to write about the conversation we were able to have with Scott Schwister through Skype, and uploaded a blog post outlining the perceptions we had gained through the interview, and further introduce First Avenue to the world, through our new blog and interesting information we had gathered through research.
I also emailed back Steve a thank you note for all the information he provided us with, and gave him an update on what our group was working on and gave him a link to our new blog. I also emailed Steve McLellan asking if we could set up an interview and outlined what our group was working on and provided him a link to both our KISPLN site and our new blog. (I also emailed these two mails to you Mr.Burell)
I also took pictures of a bar that my friends and I visited over the weekend, that’s set up with an Indian theme, and asked the bartender for the number of the bar owner, but I think he gave me the wrong number because I called and it said the number doesn’t exist. I’m planning on going back there this weekend when I’m in the neighborhood and asking again : (
“Obladi”
Also sent messages to Motownmutt on twitter asking to set up an interview and gave him the address to our new blog.

Glad to see you’ve found solid/common ground and the project is getting traction. When you’re working on a collaborative project, sometimes the hardest part is getting everyone on the same page. Once those expectations are clear, the necessary steps to progress toward your goals become clearer, too.
Steph, thanks for your gracious update email. I hope an interview with Steve M works out. Feel free to call on me as a local liaison for technical assistance, etc. If Steve IS interested in an interview, I’d be happy to help set up a Skype call or meet him to record an interview, posing your interview questions on your behalf. Whatever it takes. I’ve also emailed him about your project but have not received a reply.
Remember that Steve is the legacy guy, the man with the historical perspective, but he’s no longer formally affiliated with First Ave. If he doesn’t respond or declines, you might contact the current management:

I’d start with Sam Peterson. Same story re technical assistance. If you need help with on-the-ground logistics or coordinating an interview, let me know.
