An Appreciation to Musical Rent

Articles about My Favorite Musicals in the New York Times

Currently opening in Nederland Theater, which seems to be a perfect spot for the production, New York City is a kind of play with lovely scenes in a production has become a plague of scenes on the stage. It started at New York Theater Workshop on East Fourth in February and it is based on the story of the hopeless young people who have AIDS and HIVS and thus in dying condition. They had to enjoy what is left of their life periods nicely and sexually. They tell about their misery.
‘Rent’ produced by Jonathan Larson, who died at the age of thirty-six by aortic aneurysm, starring by Adam Pascal as Roger and Daphne Rubin Vega as Mimi and played in New York Theater Workshop and other theaters, it opened in Nederland Theater last night and will be over on June 1st, 2008. The number one reason I like this production is because it received a Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award. Second is that ‘No Day But Today’ is so joyful and that is the last word of each performance of the production.
Third, everyone can enjoy, wave their hand, and feel the fun together with the fifteen actors and actresses. Fourth, the audience can find out how terrible, miserable, and tough the poor people on stage are living in currently. They are hopeless but they want to enjoy their life with the audience before the characters die at the end of the production. This is why people love Rent so much, no matter what familiar language they hear and I love it too.
Fifth, this is based on the story of an opera called ‘La Boheme’. Modern brick are modern and pretty much based on it. I do not know how good “La Boheme’ is because I have not watched it yet. Sixth, it has nice music and choreography, it can almost be presented on MTV and it was actually. Seventh, it qualifies as a major success, which shows Mr. Larson’s great cleverness.
This is favorable. Let me say what the next article will be about. It is, ‘But why is this happening? What is going on in Broadway? It is some kind of a concession.’
